Really Regenerative’s Community of Practice.

We support our community in many different ways.  We host ongoing lunch time learning bites, short learning journeys and POP-Ups in which we share the work of our community with the world to help build the global field of regenerative practice.

Lunch-time learning and practice sessions.

During the launch of our latest study Capabilities For Transformative Change, participants signalled that they would love the opportunity to do deeper dives into the many points, practices, ideas that were contained in the study. Although we are an organisation that deeply believed in the long-term commitment and study of this work, we recognise that not everyone is in a place to make that commitment so we’ve had a long think about which technologies, ideas and practices could safely be shared in shorter webinars that would offer value to participants and still be true to the complexity of the work of transformative change. So from 16th October we’ll run lunch time learning session (lunchtime in the UK that is) every other week into a selection of the core topics in the study.

You can find upcoming opportunities below.  These are private sessions which are not shared publicly to protect the secure opportunity for people to share their thoughts and challenges openly in a private, safe space.

If you would like to book any of these exclusively for your community or organisation please get in touch at @hello@reallyregenerative.org.

LUNCH TIME LEARNING SESSIONS 2026

All sessions are from £25 per person, bookable until 11am on the day.

Capabilities that Heal & Stabilise – Harmonising & Reconciling

22nd January, 12.00pm (UK)

Dilemmas around seemingly impossible choices was a recurring theme across everyone we interviewed. Harmonising and reconciling paradoxes, dilemmas, blind spots, double binds and other similar traps so that a system or community can move forwards into the future – again and again – seems to be a core need of place-based community-led regeneration. Whether it is reconciling the challenge of a community that doesn’t want more housing versus the socio-economic need to house more people well; the dilemma of work on improvement of the social foundations at the expense of ecological ceilings, or the challenge of vested interests – the practice of harmonising tensions and regenerative reconciling will continue to be a core skill.

Regenerative reconciling is not compromise or conflict resolution. Rather, it is creating an evolution in the context which generates something entirely new and evolved the systems with which it interacts.

In this lunchtime practice session, we will look at ways in which regenerative work reconciles seemingly impossible dilemmas. Bring your own with you so that we can collectively work on your challenges together. REGISTER HERE.

Capabilities that Weave the Future –Activating Fields of Energy.

Thursday 5th February, 12.00pm (UK)

Fields of energy exist all around us. Fields are organised patterns of energy that influence and respond to the quality of activity occurring within a place and a system. It is an idea you will find discussed in both the physical and social sciences, and it is an important concept when working on transformative change.

We have all experienced fields of energy. Anyone who has joined a march or a protest such as Extinction Rebellion’s campaign, or Fridays for Future with Greta Thunberg, has been inside a field of energy that is climate campaigning.

In this lunchtime practice session, we will look at:-

  • how we can begin to see in living systems and fields of energy in place

  • the conditions and capabilities needed to bring a separate field of effort into a collaborative field of energy

Capabilities that Weave the Future – Weavers of the Future.

Thursday 19th February, 12.00pm (UK)

Weavers are also people who see the qualities and paradigms of both people and systems and instinctively know when to connect parts into wholes, people into projects and people to each other – at just the right moment when a spark may flourish. It is possibly life’s way of creating a response to the polycrisis in which we find ourselves; as we design breakdown into planetary systems, the living system creates an automatic response in the form of a sudden breakout of weavers.

In this lunchtime practice session, we will look at:-

  • the core qualities and capabilities of weavers

  • successful weaving efforts across the UK and Europe

  • ways in which to secure more recognition and resource for this work

Capabilities that Weave the Future – Systems Evolution

Thursday 5th March, 12.00pm (UK)

Evolution is an inevitable process of life. It continues whether or not we notice or pay attention to it. The universe continues to unfold; humans continue to evolve on a planet which has transformed its outer skin many times in its 4.5 billion years and will con tinue to do so. In this once-in-400-year period when the relationship between humans and all other life forms on earth must undergo a transformation in relationship, a different approach to systemic change is needed. If we are to address the conditions of the polycrisis or create any kind of resilience that could meet and manage its aftermath, an approach sourced in living systems thinking and evolutionary dynamics is required.

In this lunchtime practice session, we will look at:-

  • our theory of change for evolution of systems

  • the role of mapping in all its forms and

  • an entry exercise in mapping your place

  • discuss how and where to begin to integrate ecology, economy and ecology in any given place and the benefits/challenges of starting with a single aspect of these three fields of work

Capabilities that Weave the Future – Systems Evolution

Thursday 19th March, 12.00pm (UK)

Designing a process that brings a whole system into activating its evolutionary potential is complex work. It begins with a deep understanding of the bio-cultural uniqueness of the place and clear determination of the fractal of place you are choosing to work with.

The process will be different in a city built in the 20th century to one woven over several thousand years. The process will be different in an agricultural landscape to a tech-driven entrepreneurial landscape to a protected zone for nature. The process will be different in a financial services city vs a cultural centre for life, a museum, a tourism destination and so on.

In this lunchtime practice session, we will look at:-

  • two different, successful approaches to place-based systems evolution

  • discuss how and where the insights from these two case studies might be helpful for our own work

LUNCH TIME LEARNING SESSIONS 2025

Capabilities that Heal & Stabilise – Developing and Maintaining Will.

11th December, 12.00pm (UK)

Have you ever felt you just wanted to give up? That it was all too much for you to do? To acheive? That the complexity of working with change of any kind is exhausting? We often feel like this for very good reasons. Many of us work long hours, for little income and spend far too much time writing funding bids when we could be doing the work of change. We are stretched too thin.

How in those critical moments do we sustain our will? Do we hold onto the state of being we want to embody? Do we carry on doing the do? What practices and commitments sustain our will?

In this webinar we will be exploring the ability to generate, maintain and hold onto our will to do the work of transformative change. REGISTER.

Capabilities that Heal & Stabilise – The Art of Imperturbability.

4th December, 2025, 12.00pm (UK)

We will be exploring the ability to self-regulate levels of energy, will and determination, reactiveness, ego, sense of self adaptive reflexivity, ability to navigate uncertainty, uncover and overcome bias, blind spots and our own projections and fabrications.

We could describe these diverse capabilities as mastering the art of imperturbability or state of being across three key aspects of being human; our energetic being, our capacity for doing, and the focus and will which sustains us through the turbulence of transformative change. REGISTER

Capabilities that Heal & Stabilise – Intimacy with Earth & Time

13th November, 2025 at 12.00pm UK

This webinar focuses on Capabilities that Heal & Stabilise: developing intimacy with Earth & Time.

We will be exploring how we reconnect to earth’s natural rhythms and why we should; we’ll be exploring how our relationship to time influences our decision-making; and dialogue around the paradox of urgency vs long-time transformative change.

Capabilities that Awaken & Disrupt: De-Veiling Technologies – working with Carol Sanford’s Culture Tetrad.

6th November 2025, 12pm UK

The third in our series of Capabilities that Awaken & Disrupt is a lunchtime exploration of Carol Sanford’s Culture Tetrad as a framework that helps us to see the underlying dynamics that are holding a culture in place and opens windows to see how we might unlock it.

Carol was an intellectual powerhouse in our community with a unique ability to develop new frameworks with which to work. This is one of our favourites.

Capabilities that Awaken & Disrupt: De-Veiling Technologies – Narratives.

30th October 2025, 12pm UK

This week’s lunch-time-learning-and-practice sessions explores the power of de-veiling narratives.

Why is it easier for us to understand complex dynamics through stories, metaphors and parables? How can regenerative practitioners use narratives to help them in their work?

Join us to explore the role of story in transformative change
